News & Events
The Yorke Peninsula Woodworkers commenced in 1994 and became the Copper Coast Woodworkers in 2001 when they joined Woodgroup SA.

We are a multi skilled group, where assistance and advice can be obtained from some very skilled members in the fields of Wood Turning, Carving, Scroll Saw Work and Pyrography (wood burning).

Apart from convening the Wood Work section of the Kadina Show, members demonstrate and promote woodwork at many country shows and events as well as participating in Woodgroup SA events.

In a friendly and helpful atmosphere, even beginners will soon find themselves involved in fun, progressive production lines, where different woodwork skills are used to produce toys which we sell in order to raise money for charity.

Whatever your skill level, you will be guaranteed a day of fun, laughter, experience and knowledge building, without the pressures of a formal schooling environment.

Young and old, male or female.  If you love woodwork, we'd love to see or hear from you.

Vale Don Blythman
A wonderful man of few words, strong, supportive and excellent in his field of scroll saw work.   A dedicated club and Woodgroup member, Don was always there at our many events and will be greatly missed by all his fellow woodies.
