The Hills Woodworkers Inc was formed on 15th January, 2006 by a group of woodworkers living in the hills, that had been attending the Murraylands Club.
Our aim is to provide a setting for people interested in
woodworking, to meet socially, exchange experiences and to give the opportunity to improve and expand our knowledge and enjoyment of our craft in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
At each meeting, we usually have a demonstration, given by someone with a specialised skill or interests. We try to include skills in as wide a range as possible so as to include as many ideas and areas of interest that are associated with wood.
At present wood turning is the most commonly discussed topic; however, we have members with other interests in pyrography, cabinet making and timber finishing.
