Toymendous has a single aim and that is to make toys for children of under-privileged families. With The Parks' facility and our own we have a wide array of machinery at our disposal to manufacture toys each year.
We are backed by businesses that supply us with consumables like wood, paint, ,nails, screws, etc. We fundraise once per year just prior to Christmas selling some of the toys we make at a large craft fair to raise sufficient funds to keep the project going for the following year.
Our workshops are hands-on and anyone attending can expect to be allocated a task for the day - it could be marking out, processes using power tools or sanding, staining or assembly.
Our workshops are friendly and supportive whether you have any toy making skills or not although some woodworking experience is an advantage.
