About Us
The members of WoodgroupSA are the Woodworking Clubs. Individuals join a Woodworking Club and are referred to as 'affiliates' in the WoodgroupSA context.
Woodgroup SA and each club are separately incorporated.
A Board of Directors is the governing body of Woodgroup SA. It empowers the Executive Committee to conduct its affairs within the powers specified in the rules of the association. The Executive enlists and appoints sub-committees to assist in its management functions.
Each club reciprocates with all other clubs - this means that affiliates can attend another Club's activities for whatever cost that club charges its members. An affiliate can be a member of more than one club and thus have the full privileges of an ordinary member. Woodgroup SA's capitation & insurance fee levied on Clubs for each financial member is paid only once.
